You will get vac banned only if the VAC system will detect the cheat on you computer. But for fakelag you can maybe get red trust or Overwatch for reports.

Personal experience: When the human overwatch is work, I used midnight ragebot: turn on fakelag,antiaim and wide fov........ that account get ow banned, but I didn`t receive vac ban letter.
Now, human ow is gone, AI ow doesn`t seem to be good at detecting midnght.

As I know, human overwatch no longer exist. You got ban by AI ten to one .

I have a friend who use this cheat for over half a year and used rage without antiaim and never got any vac on his accounts, only griefing cooldowns because of reports. I used spirthack for 2 days and got ow banned in the middle of the match a week ago. I used midnight in the past and now and everything is cool.

you can only get vac ban on games that valve has published, but you can get gameban. (edit) dont know what game this is.
