cfg load problem

I use midnight, for example, there are 2 cfg in the game, I use one and then I want to change it, I load the 2nd one, it seems to be loaded but nothing changes.
and when trusted mode is on, trusted mode remains on and does not change in the settings when switching to trusted mode off cfg
note: I opened a ticket at midnight and they haven't responded for 2 days, so I'm writing here in case anyone knows.
